Academic
Outcomes and 11+ Destinations
In
line with the school’s Montessori ethos, as chosen by
our parents, pupils at our school do not sit public examinations.
A framework for the assessment of pupils' performance
is in place, guided by the Rose House Montessori Achievement
Standards (please
click on the icon to access the document) , and parents
receive half termly progress reports of their child.
Once
they join the Upper Elementary (year 5 and 6),
pupils are introduced to exam techniques through exam
role plays and introduction to exam techniques. This enables
our pupils to have the choice to aim for a selective or
state school for their senior years.
Senior
places offered to our pupils include St Dunstan's College,
Sydenham High School, International School of The Hague,
Sydenham School, St Philomena's Catholic High School for
Girls, Kingsdale Foundation School, Bonus Pastor Catholic
College, and Forest Hill School.
